My friends and I visited the town of Pripyat and Chernobyl just a few weeks ago. I have learned so much about this place. It is overwhelming and I am happy I had a chance to go there. I hope I can return to take a two day tour to see even more (I mean, the control room, surrounding villages, more). This event was well matched by the level of the service provided by this company.
I wanted to personally thank you for arranging the outstanding trip to Chernobyl when I visited Kiev. I’ve visited some 67 countries in the last few years, but Chernobyl was one of the most unique and harrowing experiences I’ve ever had.
The trip to Chernobyl went very well. The students were satisfied and so was I. The guide Yuri is very good. Thank you for now. I will recommend your company to others, and maybe I will need a trip in a year or two.
It was a memorable tour. Our guide was such an attentive, smart and funny person ! I want to come back with Marek as our tour guide again !!! I will be back!!! Thanks!!!
Our experience was VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD, we enjoyed very much the tour, the guide was very professional , very well trained, with a lot of experience, we enjoyed every minute of the trip. The driver was also very good, hotel was also comfortable and meals quite good! I will recommend your web and tours to my friends and colleagues.
The tour was really great! The fact that we were with a group of 4 people was such a plus that we really enjoyed it and saw most of what is possible and even more within two days. The tour guide himself also knew a lot about the region and showed us really nice places. The hotel facilities were good as well. So in total i enjoyed my trip a great lot. You organized a great trip. Thanks!
I wanted say what an amazing trip we had. My daughter and I booked a 2 day private tour. We got to see so much and also learned so much from our guide. I’ve got the most amazing images, which as a professional photographer was so important to me. I want to thank Yuri and the team for an excellent tour.
You need to book a tour with a company like us. It’s impossible to enter the Exclusion zone without a permit while keeping it legal. Make sure to avoid shady illegal tours. As your first step we suggest that you contact us with your questions and we will be happy to assist you with virtually all aspects of your trip to Ukraine.
It is now safe to visit Pripyat and Chernobyl. Our groups are led by certified tour guides who take our guests along safe, certified and monitored routs.
They absolutely are. We do our tours in direct cooperation with the Chernobyl Exclusion zone administration. Our groups are lead by tour guides certified by the government. They will take you on safe tour routs. Beware of shady, unofficial tours. It’s illegal in Ukraine and legal ramifications are very painful.
Anyone who is 18 y.o.and over. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women though. Those in really poor health should check with their doctor to see if they will be able to handle this activity. The good news is that although this tour is an outdoor activity you can still spent most of even all day inside our vehicle. If you are handicapped, a light wheelchair is ok with us in most cases – just make sure to double-check with us first. Hearing impaired guests are welcome too. Needles to say that you are expected to adhere to the zone visiting rules set by them.
It is an absolute imperative to book your spots in advance. If you do not, you risk to be left with no spot on this tour. There is no such thing as last minute booking on this tour.
Check the tour calendar above. Select a date and see availability. Then complete and send us the booking form. Make sure to select the type of your tour (regular group, small group, semi-private, or private tour) and its duration (1- or more-day tour). It’s also important that you provide your accurate contact details as required in the form. We will get back to you with a confirmation within a few hours or the latest 24 hours.
It is strongly recommended to avoid large (coach bus) groups. As an alternative you can book a spot on a small-group, semi-private, or even private tour. In terms of the length of your tour, you can chose a day tour or opt for a multi-day tour (2-, 3-, 4-, 5-day tour). Two day tours are pretty popular: you spend one night inside the Zone - hotel is included. So are two meals per day. If you are a photographer, you might want to consider a 3- or more day tour.
The tour rate is actually a function of several parameters: the date and day of the week, size of the group you join, guiding language, number of persons in your party, availability of discounts, etc. It’s safe to say that one can get on a tour for under a hundred of dollars. But spots on semi-private and private tours will be more expensive. Anyway, the best way of getting the best deal is to contact us.
You can prepay/book your spot(s) online or over the phone by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover) or by PayPal. We also offer SEPA bank transfers for the Euro zone and the United Kingdom. You do not have to pay the entire amount upfront. All we need for the starters is a small tour deposit - we are really flexible. The following currencies are accepted: EUR, GBP, USD, PLN, CAD, as well as some other currencies. Book with confidence.
Yes, you will need a valid travel passport to be able to first book a spot on this tour and then enter the Exclusion zone identifying yourself with exactly the same passport. Let alone you will need this document to enter Ukraine, in the first place. Good news is that you do not necessarily have to provide your passport details right at the moment of booking. It can be done later on.
Yes, absolutely. No special permits are required. Just COME and SHOOT! Anywhere inside the exclusion zone and inside of the ChNPP. Check with us about a drone permit if interested.
